Can’t wait to try this. Would you recommend something similar for green side bunkers to stop me sliding forward and hitting the ball before the sand? Happens only if there is a ball there.
I felt that I had better success with a closed stance when chipping; however, all the golf instructors teach that the stance must be closed. Thanks for reinforcing the closed stance concept when chipping for me.
Shawn – I’ve been told to locate it further back near the rear foot. It looks like you’re positioning the ball in the centre of your stance. Which is correct?
Hi Shawn

Thank you

Jake.–closing the hips, shoulders, and square to close with the feet will really benefit your chipping.
thanks shawn .great way to adjust weight forward. it certainly helps
Kuldeep– its definitely a short-game changer for the recreational golfer. Thanks for watching.

Mark–the ball position is just right of center. Not towards your right foot. That’s old school teaching.
