This week, I’ll show you how to train your putting stroke to work straight back and straight through.

Step 1:
Place a tour stick on the ground aligned to your target.

Step 2:
Clasp your hands together and grip a second tour stick between your thumbs and your index fingers.

Step 3:
Practice your putting stroke so that the tour stick works straight back and though. This will keep your putter’s face square through impact.
Hey Hump! Geico stole your Hump thing. Theres only one Hump out there as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for the great tips!
Bill–when someone steals your idea. Its the best form flattering.
Hey Shawn,
Wow…That’s hard to do. In fact, re-check your vid and you’ll see that even your demo shows that you are pulling (pointing) the Tour Stick to the left of the intended target line of the putt. Nice and stright on the back stroke but left of the line on the follow-thru of your stroke.
John–yes it is hard to do. However its a drill to try to master. Just have to work hard at it!!
