Shawn's Travel Journal – Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, OR

I just returned from a few weeks at Sunriver Resort in beautiful Sunriver, OR, one of the many resorts where we conduct our executive golf schools.  Sunriver is an amazing property with 4 golf courses and also plays host to the PGA Champions Tour JELD-WEN Tradition at Crosswater Golf Club, a Champions Tour major. 

Our accomodations were on the first hole of Crosswater in their private estate homes.  Executives have their own golf carts for cruising the property and come and go as they please.  We also had the chance to experience Caldera, a new development with a par 3 golf club that is over-the-top! 

As far as activities in the area, gold medal fishing in the Deschutes River, hiking, backpacking and most importantly, relaxing amongst breathtaking scenery.  It’s all there in Sunriver.  If you have not experienced this area of the country, I highly recommend it.  It is definitely worth the trip.
