Keep up-to-date with Shawn’s travels around the world of golf.
This month: San Diego, CA

Just a couple weeks ago I was in San Diego, California. If you have never visited the San Diego area then you are missing out. However, if you don’t like sunny skies and 75 degree weather, 350 days a year, then it’s not place for you. Are you kidding me? Sign me up for that trip! It’s one of the few places in the continental United States that has constant temperatures year-round. During my stay, I visited Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino, located 35 miles inland from San Diego Airport. This facility played host to the 2007 Nationwide Tour Championship and has all the elements for an outstanding experience. Great rooms and the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. A wonderful golf course, with excellent greens and not one disappointing meal during my stay. If you like to gamble, which I like a little black-jack and dice, the casino is well worth your time.

I liked the property so much we have decided to host a few of my golf schools there this year. Check out our schools and training and join me for a school at Barona Creek Golf Club.
